Kiro Rox is a key character in Sequel One. In 2012, his first EP "Back To Step", started the releasing cycle of our label.
The artist, originating from Szczecin in Poland, returns to us after 4 years with a debut disc called "HIDDEN SORROW". He lets a completely different side of his music shine through this one. His sound and music have matured enough to become a full-length album.
"HIDDEN SORROW" is a well planned journey into subtle regions of emotional music laid down with garage. A mysterious aura accompanies us right from the beginning, with later tracks showing us the great spectrum of Kiro Rox' producing abilities. The whole picture is a vague story with a lot of space for personal interpretation, which gives the listener a lot to think about whilst creating an incredible vibe. Throughout the album we can hear a multitude of ambient influences as well as inspiration from musical producers such as Burial or Sorrow. Experience in creating music and elasticity of compositions, let us delve into emotions the producer presents to us with his material.
The third album in Sequel One's catalogue to date is a new chapter, which shows how wide the spectrum of our sounds is, as well as an example of how Kiro Rox and his music have grown in the last few years.
